Job Title: Machine Operator - 1st Shift

1st Shift (Hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
Summary:
The Machine Operator performs a variety of tasks on the production floor, including operating equipment safely and packaging.
Reporting To:
Team Lead
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible to ensure multiple machines are in operation.
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Weigh parts and pack into appropriate boxes, trays and baskets for shipment.
- Record production data accurately in ERP system.
- Adhere to safety, quality and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- The Employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to work independent and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively and have a postive attitude.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use measuring tools and equipment, such as micrometers, scales, calipers, depth gauges, preferred.
- Capable of interpreting work orders, specifications and bluebrints.
- Basic computer skills.
- Work overtime as needed.
Education & Experience:
- High Schoo Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role in manufacturing preferred.
Physical Demands:
Paragon Medical is a manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position including sitting amd standing for extended periods ot time. The employee is expected to perform actions that include bending, kneeling, or crouching, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling objects while operating multiple machines. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with support. The employee will be required to communicate with others and work in a noise environment.
