Job Summary:

Responsible for executing the efficient and timely flow of materials through ARI inventory control centers utilizing appropriate material handling techniques and established documentation, while protecting the materials from damage and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive inventory from internal and external suppliers promptly and accurately, following established procedures. Verify item count, identification, and ensure items are free from damage.
  • Pick and kit components for manufacturing work orders, project requirements, and finished goods pick lists in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Support periodic inventory audits and perform test counts as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Perform packaging tasks to ensure safe transport of products to internal and external customers.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with carriers.
  • Provide backup support for the Stockroom Attendant, Shipper, and Receiving Inspector roles as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including navigation of Windows-based programs.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, cycle counting, and material handling.
  • Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems to perform inventory and shipping tasks.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by helping define and test new procedures.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use of hand tools may be necessary.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Assistance should be requested when needed.
