Job Summary:
As an EMC/RF Systems Engineer, you will partner closely with the Sales team on the definition, development, and maintenance of RF System solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and costing RF Systems to meet customer and AMETEK expectations
- Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery
- Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans
- Actively participating in regional and global standards committees to promote AMETEK interests
- Collaborating with other departments to achieve project goals
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of RF experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least two years of RF System design, development, and delivery experience
- Thorough knowledge of EMC standards
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for pre- and post-sales efforts including installation, commissioning, and sign-off of systems
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Due to the nature of Amplifier Research’s programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience performing real-world EMC testing in a laboratory environment
- Experience utilizing CRM to monitor Systems sales efforts and provide reports to management
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Proficiency reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs and required D365 modules such as Projects, BOMs, prototypes, etc.
