Job Summary:
The Director of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple manufacturing sites, with full P&L responsibility. This role will drive operational excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across all facilities. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Division Vice President of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple manufacturing sites to achieve operational, financial, and strategic goals.
- Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Develop and execute annual business plans and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to align operations with business objectives.
- Host customer visits and represent the company in external engagements.
- Mentor and develop site leadership teams to build organizational capability.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive leadership in operations or manufacturing management, including multi-site responsibility and full P&L ownership.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
