Job Summary:

The Director of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple manufacturing sites, with full P&L responsibility. This role will drive operational excellence, ensure customer satisfaction, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across all facilities. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Division Vice President of Operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple manufacturing sites to achieve operational, financial, and strategic goals.
  • Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to align operations with business objectives.
  • Host customer visits and represent the company in external engagements.
  • Mentor and develop site leadership teams to build organizational capability.

 

Experience:

10+ years of progressive leadership in operations or manufacturing management, including multi-site responsibility and full P&L ownership.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $180,000
Salary Maximum:  $200,000 +
Incentive:  Yes
