Job Summary:

Primary finance resource supporting a manufacturing facility. Carries out tasks to support monthly finance close processes, supports leadership with key financial insights/trends, and partners with local site leadership to drive financial and operational performance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Completes monthly close procedures - including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules, and financial variance analysis.
  • Finance business partner for operations site and division leadership. Provides financial and operational analytics to support operations management.
  • Completes monthly forecasting and annual budget process.
  • Maintains proper inventory controls through annual physical inventory, requested cycle counting support, and tracking E&O for potential risks.
  • Calculates Direct Labor and Machine standard rates annually and monitors the manufacturing absorption variances for performance.
  • Assists local team with data to support Operational Excellence projects by helping identify areas for cost savings and/or margin improvements.
  • Supports capital requests with ROI calculations and tracking of spending vs approved budget.

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 4 years Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3 - 6 years of cost accounting
  • 3 - 6 years of general accounting

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $80,000
Salary Maximum:  $125,000
Incentive:  No
