Job Description:
As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for performing internal audits to evaluate the quality system, products and processes; warranty investigations; review and update calibration records; review completed work packages; review and revise Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) in accordance with authority requirements; develop new repair capability package and review Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) revision.
How will you make an impact:
- To perform quality assurance functions with regard to the product, process and maintain quality management system while ensuring compliance with all related government agencies, aviation authorities and customers’ requirements and regulations
- Review and revise quality procedures and quality control instructions
- Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality
- Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system, products, and processes
- Perform vendors’ and on-site audits as required
- Leads and participates in quality, non-conformance and customer complaint investigations
- Uphold customers’ and regulatory authorities’ requirements
- Perform New Product Development (NPD) process and First Article Inspection (FAI)
Requirements:
- Completed / In-Progress Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering / other relevant disciplines - Required
- Desirable with at least 2 years of Quality assurance experience in Aviation industry, knowledge of AS9110
- Experience in leading and using problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams, FMEA and 5-whys methodology will be advantage.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings - desirable
- Required good analytical and communication skills
- Required to be multi-task and meticulous in nature
