Job Description: 

The Customer Service department is our primary contact for Ametek customers (airlines, maintenance and repair organizations (MROs) and other customers).  Reporting to our Customer Service Director, we are looking for an experienced candidate with industry experience to fill this role.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer customer Repair / Purchase orders including order administration (Contract Review), quotation and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer satisfaction with quick response times and qualified responses to customer requests and inquiries. This includes timely follow-up on quotations, orders, delivery and claims.
  • Proactively update customers on status of orders and enquiries.
  • Ensure that customers receive full support for their orders issues. This includes internal management of orders, addressing customer complaints with appropriate solutions, follow-up of customer requests in coordination with all the departments involved.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers and explore potential business growth and keep a global view on your customers’ activity/forecast.  
  • Assist, coordinate and prepare reports for periodic performance review and participate in customer meetings as required.
  • In addition to an assigned portfolio of customers and duties, which may change, assist other team members as workload and work distribution priorities demand

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma qualified or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 2 years' of customer service experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in aerospace industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated and driven to work with a positive attitude.
  • Desire to achieve results and advance with a fast growing and dynamic organization.
  • Proactive, service-oriented attitude
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proactively take initiative to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
