Job Title:  Quality Inspector

The Hughes-Treitler Business Unit designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards, for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets. 

Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing quality inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering documentation, and applicable quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Verify product compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Conduct measurements using inspection and metrology equipment.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.Identify, report, and support resolution of nonconformities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, suppliers, and customers on quality-related issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Support audits, new product introductions, and process improvements.
• Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow EHS requirements and maintain workplace organization according to 5S principles.

Requirements:

• Technical education (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience using measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality tools will be an asset.Experience with CMM inspection, preferably HEXAGON, is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), and traceability requirements is desirable.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• English at minimum B1 level.
