Job Description:
Operator - Process Controller will ensure production continuity by operating equipment and manual processes in accordance with job instructions and best practices, retooling equipment in their area, and resolving technological issues.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental protection regulations.
- Responding to and reporting any safety-related hazards.
- Proposing improvements in occupational health and safety.
- Ensuring cleanliness and order in the workstation and its surroundings.
- Responsibility for product quality in the area served.
- Performing inspections and tests in accordance with job instructions. Taking corrective actions.
- Adhering to good manufacturing practices and applicable standards.
- Proposing solutions to improve the quality of manufactured products.
- Ongoing process monitoring for raw material consumption.
- Responsibility for the costs of raw materials, consumables, and tools in the assigned area.
- Proposing solutions to reduce waste and quality defects.
- Implementation of the production plan according to schedule.
- Ongoing monitoring of the parameters of operated equipment/machines. Responding to and reporting any equipment failures or technical issues (Red Tag).
- Informing the Team Leader of any technical issue or defect in the equipment/machine being serviced.
- Troubleshooting equipment problems.Implementing Autonomous Maintenance (AM) plans according to schedule.
- Participating in plant activities aimed at increasing the efficiency of machines in their area.
- Retooling equipment/Changing tools/Setting parameters/Changing material/spools.
- Performing and recording (in software and protocols) measurements for statistical process control on an ongoing basis.
