Job Description: 

Job Summary:

Performs Inspection system integration in line with the system and customer set up requirements. Plan, direct and coordinate system integration requirements to support the Customer specific requirements and the factory production schedule.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Be the main communication point between the Factory and the field service team – ACES/China
  • Confirm the Project SOSDF is complete and in line with project requirements
  • Capture project requirements that sit outside of the SOSDF
  • Link to Inside Sales to capture any customer’s special requirements
  • Define process to include server set up, IP address, customer configuration inside the factory
  • Define a process to support SVTSD (Smart view tech service dump)
  • Oversee the system integration process to ensure overall quality and project specific requirements are included
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements.
  • Provide external support for field service when required
  • Further develop and maintain the integration process to support the ongoing project requirements
  • Review processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made in the QMS.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety (EHS) guidelines as well as legal obligations.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Basic understanding of Electrical principals
  • Good understanding of computer principles
  • A flexible and proactive approach.
  • The ability to respond to changes in demand and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to follow work instructions and to self-check own work.
  • Experience in computer-based material control/business systems and excellent team skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate and disciplined in maintaining an orderly work area.
  • Ability to apply the principals of the 5 “S” methodology. 

 

Minimum Education and Work Experience Required:

  • Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to work with computer-based systems for data entry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English
  • Experience of Computer Technology/Computer Science
