Job Title: Calibration Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Run calibration hardware and software per defined work instructions in a production metrology environment.
- Schedule and coordinate the calibration and flow of production material to meet shipping targets prescribed by the goals of the business unit.
- Knowledge of pressure measurement, related sciences and their link to Crystal Engineering’s products.
- Maintain calibration facilities, high pressure piping systems and equipment as necessary to meet company’s goals.
- Participate in the development and integration of specialized calibration instrumentation and techniques.
- Calibrate assets and maintain accurate records for all equipment standards.
- Maintain A2LA Cal Lab accreditation by preserving and improving operations. Support initiatives associated with accreditation.
- Prescribe and implement effective preventative maintenance program to avoid premature failures.
- Assist in maintaining clear, concise, and accurate laboratory records, technical reports or work instructions as required.
- Operate test hardware as necessary.
- Maintains created quality records according to CEC’s quality system.
ADDITIONAL
Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support Crystal Engineering’s Mission Statement and Company Goals.
- Minimum three years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communications skills; e.g., the ability to present and discuss test plans and results with other company personnel.
- Comprehensive, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office PC LAN environment including: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. MACHINES OPERATED
- Test equipment (pressure controller, deadweight tester, multimeter, power supply, environmental chamber, etc.).
- Pneumatic and hydraulic pressure systems with various media
- Measurement equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.).
- Manufacturing equipment (high pressure piping, solder, glue gun, small hand tools, etc.).
- Office machines (computer, copier, fax, etc.).
