Job Summary: 

Perform setup/run paste printer (Model SERIO 4000 a plus), SMT pick n place machine (Panasonic CM602-L & DT401-F a plus) and operate reflow oven (HELLER 1809MK III a plus). Primary responsibility is to review work schedule, assign and prioritize tasks to team members. Must be flexible to work on different machines throughout the shift, possess a strong teamwork skill and be quality minded. This role is 20% lead role and 80% performing SMT related tasks. 

 

1st shift : Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM

 

Overtime: Ability to work overtime Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed/occasionally. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Leads and distributes work for the team
  • Leads 6S activities
  • Provide input to annual Performance Appraisal in his/her group
  • Responsible for producing quality products per IPC standards
  • Audits the quality and productivity for feedback and team awareness
  • Observes all safety rules and policies
  • Follows work processes/procedures defined by AMETEK and ISO 9001:2015
  • Operates machinery to specification of manufacturer
  • Maintain certified operator certification
  • Perform all first article inspection on setup

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must require a minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience. Operator levels 3 - 5 will vary based on years of experience and scope of responsibility. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of building printed circuit board assembly for production and prototype experience
  • Read resistor color code, SMT component ID and basic math
  • Read engineering drawings, OP sheets, BOMs and engineering design
  • English, oral, reading and writing.
  • Computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Due to the nature of Programmable Power programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

Salary Range: 

The annual pay range for this position generally ranges between $25.00 - $30.00. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
