Job Summary:
The IT Help Desk Administrator works with limited supervision, takes end user's trouble calls and methodically troubleshoots software and hardware problems to find the root cause. Tracks and prioritizes multiple concurrent tasks and follows through to completion. Installs and configures office productivity and engineering software and trains users on the basic skills. Monitors and enforces the enterprise electronic security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and customer service.
- Install and troubleshoot office products and engineering software.
- Install and configure computer and networking hardware and do basic network cabling.
- Monitor and enforce electronics security policies.
- Respond to user trouble tickets.
- Ensure network connectivity.
- Setup network user accounts and permissions.
- Physical movement of IT or other office gear, as needed.
- Participate in additional projects, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 1-2 years of previous IT experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience with automation tools such as PDQ, Automox, or similar.
- Proficient with TCP/IP addressing, subnetting, routing.
- Proficient with networking equipment: cards, switches, routers, cabling.
- Familiar with/knowledge of the purpose of the main components on computers.
- Must be proficient a user and able to troubleshoot in the following areas:
- Microsoft windows Active Directory environment
- Computer hardware
- Networking equipment
- Local/network printer support/networking support
- Mobile device management
- Know the principles and practices of cyber security.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve while under pressure.
- Adaptability to constant changing circumstances.
- Analytical thinking while working through different problems/situations
- Experience with automation tools such as PDQ, Automox, or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related technologies.
- Experience with Cloud backup services such as Druva.

Salary Range:
The annual pay range for this position generally ranges between $24.00 - $34.00. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
