Job Title:  CNC Manual Lathe Operator

As a CNC Manual Lathe Operator you will perform operation of CNC lathers to fabricate parts.

The CNC Manual Lathe Operator will:

• Load parts in the machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations and inform supervisor.
• Assure removal of chips in machine and perform oil changes as needed. 
• Provide continual monitoring of quality by self-checking machined part dimensions.
• Supports manufacturing of product to meet company standards and specifications through performing duties in a professional manner within a cohesive team environment.
• Perform in a safe and productive manner in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor or management.

The CNC Manual Lathe Operator position requirements:

• Basic math skills, good vision, natural or corrected, and excellent hand dexterity. 
• Mechanically inclined preferred but not required. 
• Ability to use micrometers, calibers, drop-dial indicators and pin gages.
• Ability to perform in a production environment with unusual conditions such as high volume of noise level continuous operation of machinery and equipment, oil mist, dust and temperature changes.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 Lbs and occasionally over that limit (request assistance if needed). 
• Must be flexible in regards to overtime and week-end work schedules.

The CNC Manual Lathe Operator position additional requirements:

• Participate in cross-training efforts interacting with other departments to acquire additional skills and knowledge for advancement.

This position requires US export authorization.
