Job Description: 

Responsible for the flow of goods in and out of a warehouse or facility. This includes preparing items for shipment, receiving incoming merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also handle tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, documenting shipments, and operating warehouse equipment.  Fork truck license not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing items for shipment, including packing, labeling, and creating shipping documents using ERP and shipping software.
  • Inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, and documenting any discrepancies.
  • Put away goods into proper inventory location.
  • Picking parts from inventory, kitting jobs and delivering to production floor. 
  • Updating inventory records, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring proper storage of goods.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and basic research on any discrepancies.
  • Recording and tracking shipments, updating databases, and managing paperwork associated with shipping and receiving.
  • Inspecting goods for damage or defects and ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Ensuring a safe and organized work environment as well as communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and potential customers regarding shipments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and basic computer skills
  • Warehouse experience and the ability to operate warehouse equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull (etc.) and move products and items.
