Zygo EPO in Richmond, CA is looking for a Sr. Manager, Engineering to join our team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• People management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, knowledge transfer, mentoring, coaching. 
• Resource allocation, partnering with site and operations leadership, to anticipate and plan program staffing to ensure resources are deployed timely and to support other business needs.
• Lead a talented group of engineers to perform conceptual design, analysis, and development of new products and innovative changes to existing products.
• Ensure support for manufacturing/sustaining needs as required.
• Support capital equipment procurement, from concept to commissioning for fabrication and metrology tools.
• Work with multiple engineering disciplines and co-developers to ensure timely realization of competitive, serviceable products that keep the semiconductor industry moving forward.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to further improve the quality and efficiency of the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Graduate degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years proven success in a people leadership role.
• Experience leading engineers in a multi-disciplinary technical program preferred.
