Job Description:
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor, in this position, you will be responsible for the handling and storage of raw materials and finished products, as well as daily follow up to the shipping instructions established by customers. In addition, you will be responsible for verifying that the quantities and specifications are correct according to what is established in the orders and to perform the load of the packing/shipping list to the portal designated by Finance Department of Head Quarters.
Main Responsibilities
- Support in the management of the designated product area at MRB, as well as the location of the inventory system related to that area. Responsibilities include activities such as: controlling incoming and outgoing material in the area, performing periodic inventories, performing necessary transactions in the inventory system for incoming and outgoing material, maintaining inventory identification in the area, monitoring material disposition and evaluation time, etc.
- Assist in supervising activities related to the handling of production materials in the shipping area, including raw material transfers and material counting.
- Execution of shipping plan scheduled for the month.
- Preparation of shipments depending on the type of transportation required.
- Follow up of packing instructions and shipments required by customers.
- Responsible to execute the inventory cycle count program.
- Assist in all activities of warehouse department personnel as directed by supervisor.
- Perform transactions for the receipt of both productive and not productive material, and equipment.
- Segregate material that does not comply with the established receipt requirements.
- Load invoices to the Finance Portal (packing slip) of received material in an orderly and controlled manner.
- Identify material with receipt label, FIFO, security label (if required) and tag.
- Obtain and file hazardous material safety sheets, as well as identify this material with hazardous material handling label.
- Constant communication with internal customers and follow up on their needs, such as materials refill of work stations.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years working in warehouse and shipping operations within a manufacturing environment..
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems is desirable.
- Experience in forklift handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
