Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing tools, equipment, and products within the storage facilities, along with other tasks as assigned. Responsible for performing routine semi-skilled work in the maintenance of multiple facility locations.
What you will do:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment including company/work vehicles

General shipping and receiving tasks: UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and various truck deliveries and pickups

Includes the proper completion of required paperwork and legal compliance
-
Packing and shipping various products and parts appropriately, efficiently, and with regard to how the customer will receive them

Maintain multiple facility locations through janitorial duties, updates, regular building maintenance, and miscellaneous maintenance repairs

Maintain inventories in a clean, organized fashion

Other duties as assigned
We are looking for:

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
-
1-3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Forklift license preferred and/or willing to become certified

Strong communication skills and ability to work with various departments and personnel

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to problem solve and offer solutions

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations that may arise
Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to perform various physical duties such as using hands, reaching, standing, crouching, sitting, climbing; as well as regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
