Job Title:  SFMS Warehouse and Logistics Manager

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics functions to ensure efficient storage, inventory control, and timely distribution of goods. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes processes, and supports business objectives through effective supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and loss.
• Logistics Management
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers and manage transportation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and export/import documentation.
• Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse and logistics performance.
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and train warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous Improvement.
• Compliance & Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, export declarations).
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and inventory management tools.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs
  compliance.
