Job Description: 

The quality technician carries out the direct evaluation in the process, to ensure that the requirements are met during the process and as a result the obtaining of quality products, in addition to supporting the operations group in internal and external audit processes. The function of the quality technician covers the monitoring of containment actions and corrective actions of internal quality problems, as well as external ones (CAPA), so that they are carried out in a timely manner, as well as the lessons learned from the processes. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and actively participate as a team member, as well as providing the correct follow-up so that the actions that may result from them are carried out.
  • Assist in solving problems in processes that impact the quality of the product and/or the quality system. 
  • Collect evidence and verify the effectiveness of the implemented actions, as well as document them in a timely manner in accordance with standards.
  • Define acceptance criteria by reviewing specific customer requirements.
  • Analyze process failures and collect information for root cause investigation.
  • Create statistical and quality charts to analyze data, identify trends, and highlight patterns.
  • Audit the PTCs and generate actions together with the team.
  • Support customer service activities in terms of quality.
  • Follow up on engineering changes (ECOs) and process changes in their respective lines.
  • Secure the processes and/or products affected by deviations until their expiration date.
  • Inspect and validate new products on production lines according to requirements.
  • Seek the systematization of processes through the implementation of work instructions, formats, or some other document.

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or related areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred. 
  • Analytical thinking to assist with root-cause analysis.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with the customer.
  • Basic knowledge of metrology measurement tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with core quality tools.
  • Ability to read Blueprints.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Basic English proficiency.
