Job Title: Quality Engineer

Customer interface on all thing’s quality like warranties, customer complaints, internally main driver for FTQ and support to our QSM.
Main Activities
Withing the team/area assigned he/she facilitate team members on problem solving, using core tools such as DOE, A3, 5Whys, etc.
Follow up on customer claims and provide 8D and DPR’s
Drives our warranty process from reporting to actions taken to reduce this expense (top offenders) as well responding to customer portals.
Actively support and participate on continuous improvement activities such as: Kaizen, idea program, cost out improvement, RIW, APS.
Creates and submit PCN/ PPAP documentation for customer approval
Requeriments
Engineering industrial Electrical/ Mechanical
3 or more years of experience within Quality areas
3 or more years of experience on customer interface, claims, warranties
Six Sigma Green belt is a plus
English (conversational)
Proficient with Statistics Control Process tools i.e minitab
Proficient with MS Office tools like MS Project, Excel.
Basic understanding of MRP systems like Oracle to understand material transactions
