Job Description: 

As Production and Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible of the materials provision for the production requirements: quality, quantity, on time delivery and cost. Proper materials stock levels assurance through warehouse to production workstations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for keeping the area safe and secure, following compliance. 
  • Responsible for obtaining the necessary materials, coordinating its activities with the purchasing department and with logistic shipments to fulfill the production and shipment programs.
  • Maintain close communication with the production and engineering in order to keep inventories on what is needed.
  • Responsible for: planning, programming and failure detection problem solving on every materials/logistics function at the warehousing activities.
  • Track production orders and establish daily working relationships with the purchasing department to expedite the delivery of materials.
  • Complete documentation including preparation of commercial invoices, NAFTA, certifications, hazardous materials, shippers export declarations, bills of lading, international airway bills, packing slips, shipping instructions and country-specific requirements needed.
  • Manage third party shipping systems/software (FedEx/UPS/T&T).
  • In charge of raw material receiving activities along with all inventory transactions on company web platforms.

 

Education & Skills

  • 6 Months of experience in a similar position.
  • High School completed preferably. 
  • Knowledge of computer packages (Microsoft Office).
  • Desirable experience in forklift driving.
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution and emotional intelligence.
  • Proactive.
