Job Description: 

Leading the division procurement and sourcing strategies that helps ICVS  to achieve and maintain excellent operation performance process, across several areas of supply chain from procurement, supplier commodity, NPI. Always looking to improve our delivery, cost, and quality.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all phases of supplier identification, development, and ongoing management for our $25M in annualized material spend. 
  • Develop annual budgets for material spend and cost savings. 
  • Proactively manage procurement team and supply base to assure that working capital goals (Inventory, Freight) are achieved.
  • Conduct high stake negotiations with key suppliers. 
  • Collaboratively lead the effort in identifying and implementing cost reduction projects for the business that target improved Quality, Delivery and Cost position throughout the business.  Either thru PPV or as part of extended effort on VA/VE with Engineering.
  • Represent the Operations/Sourcing function in NPI (New Product Introduction) initiatives to ensure main and alternate supplier selections are in place to meet scheduled launch dates and material cost/margin targets.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • 5 years minimum experience holding various supply chain positions, purchasing, warehouse and inventory, supplier development, NPI.  Well-rounded background in warehouse, planning, and purchasing functions.
  • 3 years minimum experience in a manager role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, operations management, or in business administration.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and in English.  Must have the ability to communicate clearly to colleagues on the factory floor and those in top management.
  • Strong project management skills and practices.
  • Good understanding of information technology and use of Microsoft tools.
  • APICS certification or strong MRP / ERP background.
