Job Description: 

Carry out the activities assigned in the stockroom to perform all duties and serve as critical position to solve inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory traceability.  Perform receiving of material, putting away of material, picking of material for production, process returned material, cycle counting of material, and any other requirements needed in the stockroom.
 
Responsibilities

  • Perform material receipts and highlight any non-conformances for prompt resolution.
  • Perform movement of material from receiving to stockroom location.
  • Pick material to work orders from towers / cabinets / racks in FIFO manner.  Ensure lot traceability of transaction to work order.
  • Process material returns against work order – use X-Ray machine to perform counts and work to ensure counts are accurate and adjustments made are accurate.
  • Perform cycle counts as required and analyze any discrepancies found during cycle counts to understand root cause of variances.  Participate in annual physical inventory.
  • Perform shipping transactions and notify appropriate personnel of shipment information.
  • Monitor inventory of Raw Materials/Consumables/Chemicals (Verify quantities, if there are any details I send the respective emails), physically and by system.

 
Experience & Skills

  • 5 years or more of experience working in stockroom environment (SAP experience a plus).
  • Experience as a cycle counter and proven record of making process changes to fix problems.
  • Ability to bend and lift 40 pounds.
  • Detail-oriented mindset data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (ability to respond to Email in English expected).
  • Flexible work hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Ability to multitask.
