Summary of the position

Carry out the activities of receipts of material and equipment, shipments and inventory control in the warehouse as well as providing support in production scheduling.
Generate inventory reports, cycle counts. Receipt of Material and MRB activities, Generate report and release Production orders, Delivery of material to production. Maintain inventory control of chemicals. Carry out material packaging and carry out the shipping process. Apply the 5's in the warehouse.

 

Responsabilities

Receipts of Raw Materials/Consumables/Chemicals (Verify quantities, if there are any details I send the respective emails), physically and by system.
Provide information for the crossing of certain materials to the shipping personnel who support us in Hidalgo and/or Import Export.
Release production orders that are sent to me by mail daily, if we are not able to cover them, carry out the transactions by system to cover part of the demand.
Provide support to production/engineering on daily issues and/or details with materials in the process.
Monitor the daily inventory after releasing the production orders so as not to be out of stock with the next orders (by system), if necessary I make the request for them to the buyers.
Monitor the physical inventory and provide scrap daily or weekly by system.
Monitors inputs and outputs of consumables and/or warehouse chemicals.
Responsible for the shipments that are required weekly in Wichita and New York.
Complete production orders to be able to ship them by system.
Monitor inventory of boxes, make the request for these if required weekly.
Keep reports of shipped orders daily, I place the tracking information for each shipped box; previously in the Job Status File now in the Oracle system.
Monthly, provide Import-export with a report on the Inventory of raw materials and products that we currently have in our Advanced Division.

Basic math and organization skills
Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds or more
Detail-oriented mindset
Data entry and computer skills
Forklift certification is beneficial for unloading large shipments
Ability to work on feet for long hours
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
Experience shipping, receiving or selling related product
Experience in receiving
Flexible work hours.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
Oracle or ERP system experience preferred
Ability to multitask.
