The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and directly assigning manufacturing engineering activities. Provides support to manufacturing areas regarding documentation, methods, standards, and training. Develops, manages, and verifies manufacturing methods, ensuring that operational standards are properly defined and considered in training processes.
Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies.

Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating with design and production teams.

Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Conduct root cause analysis and apply corrective actions to resolve production issues.

Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other digital tools to design and improve manufacturing layouts.

Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, FAA).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Provide technical support and training to production staff.

Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Participate in supplier development and qualification processes.

Ensure safety practices are followed and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, aerospace, industrial) or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Desirable experience in machining, welding, and metal forming processes.

Bilingual skills (Spanish and English).

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.

Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
