Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. This role also manages product and process transfers to the Reynosa facility.
Responsibilities
- Define and document lean, safe, and efficient production processes, including maintenance routines.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams to improve operations and resolve process issues.
- Identify and evaluate equipment needs for new and existing products, including ROI and compliance with safety and ergonomic standards.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Coordinate new product introductions and transfers, ensuring manufacturing readiness and alignment with production goals.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications and procedures.
- Execute cost reduction projects and identify bottlenecks, proposing and implementing improvements.
- Support layout changes to improve workflow and productivity.
- Monitor and analyze capacity and performance for new product processes on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with mechanical or electromechanical products.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and product/process transfers.
- Strong skills in technical documentation, process design, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
