Job Description: 

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
Develops manufacturing processes by studying products requirements
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, spaces required and layouts.
High level of responsibility.
Responsible for the introduction of new products by implementing proper processes that guarantees quality and cost.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
A minimum of 3 or 5 years in a similar position.
Experience in assembly of Electric Motors (is a plus)
Knowledge of winding equipment, armatures, fields and induction motor processes (is a plus).
Experience in developing, implementing, maintaining and improving current processes, including equipment, documentation, training, gages and tooling to optimize quality, productivity.
Proven ability in cost reduction projects (tooling, cycle times, process).
Experience in control plans, PFMEAs, corrective actions, 5 why's, etc.
Experience in transferring new products or new products development Engineering degree, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, industrial or similar.
Ability to communicate in English with external members of the team.
Solid knowledge in lean manufacturing methodology.
Knowledge of MRP basics (oracle system preferably).
Ability to work with solid works and AutoCAD.
Development and updating of line documentation (AMEF, Flow diagram, Process instruction sheets, specific client requirements).
Design of tools and devices (fixture, poka-yoke) that help continuous improvement.
Requirement and implementation of changes in engineering.
Develop and implement new assembly processes and / or improvements to the already existing.
Experience in costing products.
Travel internationally.
Proven experience in transfer of manufacturing lines.
