Job Description: 

 

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for executing machining shop operations according to technical drawings, company procedures, and quality requirements, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform machining operations according to technical drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
  • Comply with the Quality Management System requirements in accordance with AS9100 standards.
  • Follow established procedures, work instructions, and formats.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external document changes.
  • Participate in the definition and documentation of acceptance and rejection criteria for assigned processes and products.
  • Support process audits to verify compliance with established standards (ISO 9000, control plans, customer certifications, corrective actions).
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval of process or product deviations, including customer approval when required.
  • Support off-line activities such as rework, inspections, or sorting as needed.
  • Maintain order, cleanliness, safety, and quality in the work area.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the maquiladora industry or a similar position.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic English proficiency.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proactive and responsible attitude.
