Job Description: 

Responsible for coordinating and leading daily production activities at Night Shift within the machining area, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives. Oversees production personnel, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures efficient operation of equipment and manufacturing processes. Acts as the first point of contact for resolving production issues and driving team performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take leadership of the machining area technicians, keeping production reports, quality, equipment downtime, meeting production goals in a timely manner. Taking care of the safety of the employees and the proper functioning of the equipment.
  • Follow up on the compliance of preventive maintenance of equipment on time, according to the dates already scheduled in advance.
  • Verify compliance with good documentation practices in accordance with the requirements of the standards or procedures (Oracle).

 

Experience

  • Technical degree or Engineering in a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines, blueprint reading, and measuring instruments.
  • Experience leading production personnel and meeting production targets.
  • Understanding of quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in Oracle.
  • Computer packages (Microsoft Office).
  • Availability to work at night shift.
