Job Description: 

The Junior Quality Engineer supports the implementation and maintenance of the quality system to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role assists in monitoring production processes, participating in problem‑solving activities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the BU.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the review of engineering designs and provide basic technical support.
  • Support the monitoring of product quality and reliability processes.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams on quality improvement initiatives.
  • Help investigate production line issues and document findings.
  • Assist in establishing quality criteria for inspections, rework, and processes.
  • Support cost‑reduction activities and improvement plans.
  • Participate in validating manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in monitoring and validating processes for new product introductions.
  • Document and follow up on material issues with internal and external suppliers.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective action processes.
  • Support the resolution of issues identified by auditors and quality inspectors.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality management system.
  • Support follow‑up activities related to customer complaints (DOA).
  • Assist in coordinating material purge processes related to supplier issues.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma (certifications are a plus).
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and Quality Planning (SPC, Control Charts, APQP, PPAP basics).
  • Knowledge of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, scales, basic CMM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
