Job Title:  Jr Buyer/ Planner

Responsible for planning, purchasing, and expediting materials and components for the operation of the organization requiring specialized knowledge and experience. Will evaluate, analyze, and select suppliers to find goods and services at the best price, supports inventory management through consignment and stock holding programs. Work in conjunction with the overall supply chain team to deliver value that achieve company objectives including PPV, OTD, Quality and related KPIs.

Education & Experience:

BS/BA degree in supply chain, business, or engineering discipline

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience

Experience working with MRP.

Required Skills:

Exposure to supply chain and / or manufacturing operations and concepts.

Complies with all internal policies and procedures.

Strong people skills. Ability to work successfully within teams.

Utilizes sound judgment and decision making 

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement 

Excellent communication and presentation

Experience in manufacturing processes

Strong problem solving and analysis skills

Solid knowledge of MS Office – primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
