Job Title:  Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician is responsible for ensuring that production processes are performed efficiently and effectively. This role involves working with measurement equipment, reading mechanical and electronic drawings, and using specialized software. In addition, the ideal candidate will need to apply continuous improvement methods and techniques such as TPM, OEE, and 5S.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily manufacturing operations by maintaining and improving production processes.
• Create and update work instructions, visual aids, and process documentation.
• Analyze production data using basic statistical tools (SPC) to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities to reduce waste and optimize workflow.
• Interpret engineering drawings to ensure correct process setups and product specifications.
• Provide technical support to production lines, troubleshooting process issues and identifying corrective actions.
• Assist in the implementation of new products or process changes, ensuring smooth transitions to manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate information and transactions in Oracle related to manufacturing processes and production activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is prefered.
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of basis statistical tools (SPC).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle system.
• Basic skills in creating visual aids and manufacturing work instructions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good communications skills & teamwork orientation.
