AMETEK Aerospace and Defense is seeking a Customer Service Account Specialist with a proven track record of success to join our team in Reynosa, MX. This role supports the Sales team by managing customer service duties for major distribution accounts, ensuring accurate and timely execution of pricing, quoting, purchase order review, order entry, and issue resolution. The position also involves expediting orders, administering pricing policies, supporting forecasting activities, and assisting factories in achieving monthly sales goals.
The specialist will deliver weekly reports to key accounts, establish routine reviews, and proactively resolve customer issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial, military, and distribution accounts, aligning customer needs with AMETEK’s business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal departments: Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer RFQs for commercial and military distribution partners and OEM customers.
- Manage U.S. Military PO awards, flow-down requirements, and input data into ERP systems.
- Generate and maintain documentation for quotations, orders, contracts, and related customer files.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and shipping instructions.
- Communicate with outside Sales personnel to ensure alignment with goals and customer needs.
- Support Sales in identifying opportunities to increase revenue and close contracts.
- Provide input for monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans.
- Perform tactical functions including financial reporting (budgets, actuals, forecasts) and regular communication on key accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Analytics preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in planning and execution.
- Prior Customer Service experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Oracle/MRP systems is a plus.
