Job Description: 

The CNC Machine Technician is responsible for executing machine shop operations in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and company procedures. This role supports production by ensuring that machining activities meet quality, safety, and documentation standards, and by participating in process validations, audits, and product acceptance criteria.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform machining operations following established procedures, work instructions, and approved formats.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external document revisions.
  • Participate in defining and documenting acceptance and rejection criteria for processes and products, including pilot tests and visual aids, based on manufacturing standards and customer requirements.
  • Take part in process audits (e.g., AS9100, Control Plan, customer certifications, corrective actions) to verify compliance with established standards when required.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval of any process or product deviations, including supporting customer‑required approvals.
  • Support off‑line activities when needed (rework, sorting, inspections, etc.) to meet production and quality needs.
  • Maintain order, cleanliness, safety, and quality in the work area.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate proactive and responsible behavior.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • CNC machine programming (preferred).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and practice of ISO 9000 and/or AS9100 standards (preferred).
  • Skilled in the use of measuring equipment.
