Job Description:
The Analysis and Repair Technician is responsible for analyzing and repairing defective electronic boards, documenting failures, and supporting production teams. This role ensures accurate diagnostics, effective repair activities, and proper communication with support and production areas, contributing to continuous improvement and smooth line transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze defective PCBs and identify root causes.
- Perform repair of PCBs and ensure proper documentation.
- Remove and control PCB inventory from the production area.
- Support production teams with troubleshooting and technical assistance.
- Participate in engineering changes and production line transfers.
- Define and help implement corrective actions.
- Perform quotes and assist with purchase order requests.
- Participate in production and continuous improvement meetings.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on test equipment.
Requirements:
- High School ot Technical career preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of PCB analysis and repair.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance for test equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
