We are currently looking for an Compliance Monitoring Manager for our Quality team at Ramsgate.
Compliance Monitoring
• Ensuring that the activities of the organisation are monitored for compliance with the applicable requirements and any additional requirements as established by the organisation, and that these activities are carried out properly under the supervision of the nominated persons.
• Establishing regular meetings with the QEHS Director and Accountable Manager to appraise the effectiveness of Compliance Monitoring. This will include details of any reported discrepancy not being adequately addressed by the relevant person or in respect of any disagreement concerning the nature of a discrepancy
• Monitoring the amendment of the organisation’s procedures and standard practices (MOE, including the associated procedure(s)) and their compliance with the current revision of Part-145 plus any other applicable regulatory requirement and guidance material issued by EASA, CAA, FAA.
• Documenting processes, procedures, local instructions, and forms for the company with direct process ownership of the following.
• Responsible for adherence to all industry, quality regulations.
• Issue /renewal/cancellation of Part-145 Certifying Staff, Support Staff and individual authorisations.
• Management of the Stamp Authorisation control system for Ramsgate.
• To ensure employees have the appropriate training and competence for their role.
• Support the Safety Manager with product and system failure investigations using a variety of tools and provide appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Management of the warranty process, logging the root cause, corrective and preventive actions of all occurrences
• All warranty claims and subsequent corrective actions are reviewed at the Quarterly Quality Review.
• Management of the Internal occurrence system, logging root cause, corrective and preventative actions of all occurrences and plot the monthly trend. (Reports will be distributed as necessary).
• Reportable occurrences: the CMM is responsible for reporting any conditions / faults in or malfunctioning of any part including suspected unapproved parts of aircraft equipment which, if not corrected would endanger the aircraft, its occupants, or any other person. A report will be made using the ECCAIRS2 web portal.
• For coordinating action on airworthiness occurrences and for initiating any necessary further investigation and follow-up activity
Management of the calibration department
• Develop and implement calibration strategies aligned with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Calibration Engineer with Maintaining a calibration schedule for all measurement equipment, ensuring traceability to national/international standards.
• Ensure compliance with UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards.
• Supervise calibration engineer, including training and competency development.
• Set performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Management of Calibration procedures and ensure they are technically valid and up to date.
• Support with management of Investigations and resolve non-conformances related to measurement equipment.
• Approve procurement of new measurement equipment and calibration standards
Experience
• Experience working in UK CAA / EASA 145 maintenance with a combination of experience in tasks/activities related to maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management and/or the surveillance of such tasks.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Understanding of policies and procedures; proven ability to communicate and lead and successfully deliver improvement initiatives

Qualifications
• A relevant engineering or technical degree or an engineering qualification
• Safety Training Including Human Factors
