Job Title: Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for delivering integrated, results-driven marketing programmes to support growth across the Specialty Metals Products and Engineered Interconnect & Packaging Business Units within the Engineered Materials, Interconnects & Packaging division in a global environment.
This role goes beyond execution and includes campaign coordination, digital channel management, content development, marketing operations, and global stakeholder collaboration to ensure consistent brand positioning and measurable pipeline impact.
Role requirements include:
Integrated Campaign Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital and offline) aligned to business objectives
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints
- Support campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking across regions
Trade Shows & Events (Global)
- Lead planning and execution of national and international trade shows and exhibitions, including:
- Exhibitor portal management
- Logistics, shipments, and inventory (samples, brochures, giveaways)
- Pre- and post-event marketing (email invites, social media, email signatures)
- Coordination of internal planning and review meetings
- Manage lead capture and post-event follow-up processes
Content, PR & Communications
- Develop and distribute:
- Press releases, editorials, and website articles
- Campaign content and supporting collateral
- Maintain media, publication, and editor relationships/lists
- Ensure all content aligns with AMETEK policies, brand guidelines and technical accuracy
- Support coordination of newsletters and editorial calendars
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Collaborate with specialists to deliver digital marketing strategies, including:
- Social media planning, content creation, and execution
- Paid media campaign content (ads, sponsored editorials)
- Email marketing content and nurturing journey
- Support content optimisation for web platforms (e.g., Sitecore XM Cloud migration) including images, formats, and SEO alignment
Marketing Automation & Email
- Work closely with Marketing Automation teams to:
- Build and optimise lead nurturing campaigns
- Develop email content and workflows
- Improve engagement and conversion performance
Video & Multimedia
- Support development of video marketing content, including:
- Storyboarding
- Messaging and technical input
- Coordinate with internal/external teams for production
CRM & Lead Management
- Manage and maintain CRM (Salesforce) data integrity
- Process, qualify, and filter leads to ensure accurate pipeline tracking
- Support reporting on campaign performance and lead outcome
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with external suppliers for:
- Creative design, print, and promotional materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally with:
- Global marketing teams (including India digital team)
- Commercial, sales, and product teams
- Build strong working relationships across regions and functions
Marketing Operations and Administration
- Maintain PR and advertising archives
- Support market research, competitor analysis, and reporting
- Provide general marketing administration and coordination support
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or B2B environments
- Proven experience in trade show and event management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
- Demonstrated project management and organisational skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional, global environment
- Creative aptitude towards copy writing, brand, design and communication.
- Ability to achieve a satisfactory result in a background check, company medical and Drug and Alcohol test (hair follicle).
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong digital marketing content creation skills (social, email, paid media)
- Experience with:
- CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Pardot)
- Proficiency in:
- MS Office
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere) desirable but not essential
- AI prompting
- Ability to:
- Multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Influence stakeholders and manage suppliers effectively
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail

Additional Information:
- Full-time, permanent role based in Plymouth, UK at Fine Tubes Limited.
- Successful candidates are required to work on a full-time basis from the main office, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Core office hours are Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, 8am – 3.30pm on Fridays, however flexibility to support the US Business Units will be required.
