Job Description: 

Electron Microscopy Technologies (EMT) is the world's leading manufacturer of high-quality instrumentation and software for imaging and analysis in TEM and SEM applications. Gatan is looking for a Software QA Engineer. In this role you will design and implement automated test routines and work with the Software Engineers to improve software testability. This position is located in Pleasanton, CA.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all phases of software testing 
  • Design, implement and maintain testing suites for the Gatan Microscopy Suite software
  • Ensure software is of highest quality by contributing to software products, build infrastructure and test environments
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure all software releases are fully tested

 

Requirements for Consideration

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other technical area of study
  • Familiarity with object oriented methodologies, C++, and other high level languages
  • Familiarity with software issue tracking and source code management applications
  • Experience with automated testing tools for MS Windows applications
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $120,000
Salary Maximum:  $160,000
