Job Title: Manager, Integrated Operations

The Manager, Integrated Operations owns the day-to-day orchestration of Production & Capacity Planning, Operational Excellence (OPEX), and EHS leadership. This leader ensures we have a safe workplace, a stable plan that matches capacity, and a continuous improvement engine that drives delivery, cost, and quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Production & Capacity Planning (Direct Ownership)
- Own the S&OP/MPS cadence, finite scheduling, and capacity modeling across critical resources; drive plan stability, load-leveling, and constraint removal in partnership with Production, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
- Establish and maintain a capacity model for near-term and mid-term horizons; publish plan adherence and capacity utilization KPIs.
- Lead readiness reviews for demand surges or mix changes; drive actions to protect OTD/OTIF, lead time, and inventory targets.
- Facilitate daily/weekly production huddles; ensure issues have clear owners, due dates, and countermeasures.
Operational Excellence (via Direct Report & Hands-on Leadership)
- Lead the site CI roadmap; sustain Gemba walks, Kaizen pipeline, standard work deployment, and 5S/6S; coach supervisors and cell leaders to solve problems at the source.
- Maintain visible performance dashboards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost; track productivity and CI savings with financial validation.
- Champion root cause analysis, mistake-proofing, and standardization; ensure improvements are documented and sustained.
EHS Leadership & Compliance (via Direct Report & Hands-on Leadership)
- Provide leadership and oversight to the EHS site lead to ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and a proactive safety culture (incident investigations, training, hazard reporting, corrective actions).
- Ensure the compliance calendar, metrics, and external reporting (e.g., OSHA/EPA as applicable) are timely and accurate; remove roadblocks for the EHS team.
- Oversee and support use of EHS/compliance systems through the EHS site lead.
Quality, Suppliers/Outsourcing & Cross-Functional Interfaces
- Partner with Quality to triage defect tickets, lead/coach RCA, and drive lasting countermeasures that protect customer commitments.
- Coordinate with supplier/outsourcing partners to resolve issues, manage schedule risks, and execute corrective actions.
- Act as the operations liaison to Sales/PM/Engineering on status, risks, and recovery plans.
People Leadership & Scale
- Directly lead the OPEX lead and the EHS site lead; develop bench strength and succession for Production Supervision and Planning.
- Model ‘Respect for People,’ coaching leaders in daily management, problem-solving, and standardized work; align with CSI’s QMS and HR processes for role clarity and competency development.
Key Performance Indicators (illustrative)
- Safety: Recordable rate, audit closure effectiveness, training completion.
- Delivery: Plan adherence, OTIF/OTD, schedule stability.
- Capacity & Flow: Capacity utilization, queue/lead time reduction, constraint closure rate.
- CI Impact: Verified productivity savings, 5S/6S audit scores, standard work adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years in manufacturing operations with hands-on experience in production/capacity planning and cross-functional leadership.
- Demonstrated OPEX/Lean leadership (e.g., Kaizen facilitation, standard work, 5S/6S, visual management) and data-driven problem solving (RCA, countermeasures).
- Working knowledge of EHS programs and compliance fundamentals; proven partnership with an EHS team to drive culture and results.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP and operations analytics; capable of building capacity models and KPI dashboards.
