Job Description: 

The Truck Driver will load and operate the company delivery vehicle and deliver company products to customers, suppliers, and contractors. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick up, delivery, loading, and unloading of various production materials to approximately a three-hour radius.
  • Shipping and receiving, materials management, inventory control, and other production duties.
  • Other pick-up and delivery for other areas of business on an as needed basis.

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years Delivery and material handling experience

 

SKILLS:

  • Ability to safely operate a box truck.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.

  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required throughout the workday to sit, stand, walk, use hand/finger to grasp/pinch/grip, stoop, kneel,  and operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. May be required to climb stairs and operate machinery and/or power tools on occasion. Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Work environment: Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.

Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $45,000
