Job Title:  Receiving/Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift

Job Summary:

• Unload trucks, serve as back-up driver, system transactions, delivery of product, and storage of inventory items.  
  
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloads trucks, counts all receipts (from both external and internal sources), and enters all receipts into ERP system. External receipts are moved to incoming Quality Inspection or delivered to requisitioner.
• Serve as back-up driver and make deliveries/pick up production materials within a 3-hour radius (approx.). 
• Responsible for marking and storing all materials in designated areas. 
• Issue materials for work orders, cycle count inventory and perform transactions for return issues. 
• Responsible for physical inventory accuracy of assigned areas. 
• Maintain files for material certifications. 
• Cutting orders at the saw. 
• Writing up returns at the saw. 
• May enter purchase order for outsource product. 
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. 

OCCASIONAL DUTIES:  

• Other pick-up and delivery for other areas of business on an as needed basis. 
• Other duties as assigned. 
• Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles. 
  
  

Education:

• Minimum High School or GED 

Experience:

• 3-6 years; Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Previous receiving, inventory and delivery experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and high transactional accuracy required.
• Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass the DOT Health Exam and be covered under Paragon’s insurance are all required. 

KSA's:

• Forklift license.    
• Caliper & micrometer knowledge preferred.  
• Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.   
• Ability to operate a saw.
