Job Title:  Prekit Operator - 1st Shift

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Responsible for all activities for quality operations of Staging for Metal Assembly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Set up and operate Haeger Riveter.
• Set up and operate Chicago Riveter.
• Send/Receive parts from outsourcing.
• Set up Pre-kit with paperwork needed.
• Accurately kit brackets in totes.
• Locate and obtain order requirements.
• Set up and use or the Orbitform.
• Setup and Operate clicker press.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES:

• Support 6’s within facility.
• Other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:  

• High School diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience using small hand tools preferred.    

SKILLS:  

• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.
