Job Description: 

TMC Vibration Control is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse and EHS Manager to lead our warehouse operations and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs. This role is critical in providing leadership and direction to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term goals. Key responsibilities include managing the entire spectrum of warehouse activities such as receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Additionally, this role will oversee safety initiatives, environmental compliance, productivity enhancements, capital investment decisions, cost-saving measures, and the maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with safety being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and material handling processes.
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Develop employees across multiple segments including continuous improvement, lean, safety, and adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Oversee facilities and maintenance operations for production equipment, building, and offices.
  • Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any identified hazards or non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse and production workflows.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and safety procedures.
  • Manage budgets and resources for warehouse and EHS operations.
  • Lead daily management of operational metrics at the Plant SQDIP meetings.
  • Communicate with the Plant Manager on setting goals, objectives, and reporting of area metrics to track progress and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related function within a production plant setting, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience with facilities and maintenance management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and tools, including ERP and MRP systems, with preference for Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory management and safety compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in maintaining quality management systems.
  • Experienced in Lean, Six Sigma, and various continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Minimum:  $80,000
Salary Maximum:  $140,000
