Job Description: 

The Semiconductor Sales Manager has responsibility for overall TMC business in the Semiconductor market, focusing on the US region, and is responsible for ensuring annual business goals are met. He/she will build business strategies and execute action plans to achieve annual orders & sales & service targets, and achieve new business development targets, and other performance goals and objectives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop business plans to drive the results to achieve orders,sales & service goals in the Semiconductor market to support TMC’s business strategies and objectives. Drive year-over-year growth.
  • Achieve budgeted orders, sales & service revenue set for the Semiconductor market.
  • Responsible for identifying new customers in the Semiconductor market.
  • Responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in the Semiconductor market.
  • Develop key and strategic customer accounts in the Semiconductor market, obtain single source and major market share position, and drive year-over-year growth.
  • Responsible for key and strategic customer accounts management in the Semiconductor market.
  • Responsible to build customer relationships at all levels.
  • Report on voice of customers to management team. Highlight the requirements of local market needs to grow TMC business.
  • Build and maintain an active opportunity pipeline to support year-over-year growth in its assigned territory.
  • Update CRM System (Salesforce) weekly with accurate and detailed information.
  • Submit business forecast weekly and when required.
  • Update management team with weekly reports when required.
  • Responsible for business presentations to management team at sales meetings and when required.
  • Responsible for business presentations at customers meetings, trade shows, seminars, and conferences, and when required.
  • Attend meetings and conference calls when required.
  • Provide market research, pricing analysis, competitive analysis regularly and when required
  • Support pricing strategies and achieve the business goals while managing customers’ expectations and relationships with minimum disruptions.
  • Ensure orders, contracts, purchase agreements, suppliers’ agreements, technical agreements, tender agreements, business transactions, distribution agreements met all AMETEK business compliance requirements, regulatory standards, AMETEK policy, and US laws and regulations.
  • Work with all AMETEK colleagues to collaborate and win business for TMC
  • This is a US-based and US focused sales position concentrating on the Semiconductor market.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, materials sciences or other related technical degree is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Semiconductor, or Semiconductor-adjacent
  • Experience with Semiconductor manufacturing process and/or technology is preferred
  • Experience with vibration control and/or noise control is a plus
  • Sales experience of capital equipment is preferred
  • A proven record of growing Semiconductor sales as a technical salesperson is preferred
  • Understanding marketing processes and activities such as market research, pricing, marketing communications, competitive analysis is a plus
  • Highly organized, effective time management, prioritization and follow-up skills is required
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
  • A strong ability to close new business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent presentations skills in English
  • Position demands extensive travel within the US, occasional travel to Asia and Europe

Salary Minimum:  $100,000
Salary Maximum:  $125,000
