Job Description: 
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, kitting, and preparing large mechanical and pneumatic assemblies using hand and power tools. This role requires the ability to interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and air diagrams while ensuring high-quality workmanship in an ISO9001 environment. The Mechanical Assembler works both independently and collaboratively to complete complex assemblies with accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components using hand and power tools
  • Interpret and follow assembly drawings, work packages, and air diagrams
  • Perform drilling, tapping, and grinding of parts as required
  • Clean, pack, and crate finished products for shipment
  • Use woodworking equipment to support packaging and crating activities
  • Handle materials and operate overhead crane equipment safely
  • Measure and inspect components using tools such as verniers, protractors, squares, and tape measures
  • Inspect work at various stages to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Support other departments and perform additional tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electrical assembly or sheet metal fabrication
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar quality management systems
  • Experience operating overhead cranes or material handling equipment

Salary Minimum:  45,000
Salary Maximum:  60,000
