Job Description:
As the Director of Information Technology, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of all IT systems and infrastructure supporting global business operations. You will partner with leaders across the organization to identify technology solutions that enhance capabilities, strengthen performance, and drive sustainable growth. You will report to the Divisional Vice President, Controller, with a functional reporting line to the IT division leader.
Responsibilities
- Guide IT teams and business leaders to ensure alignment with corporate technology initiatives, including cybersecurity and governance requirements.
- Oversee the integration of acquired businesses into IT systems and processes.
- Support organizational change and technology transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop an IT roadmap that enhances capabilities and operational effectiveness.
- Manage business systems, applications, and technology operations.
- Build and maintain an effective and engaged IT and business systems team.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and governance policies and oversee deployment of corporate cybersecurity programs.
- Align IT resources to support digital transformation and streamline manual processes.
- Provide data access and reporting tools that enable measurable outcomes.
- Oversee the technical delivery of digital projects, including ERP implementations, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in an engineering‑focused, product development, or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
- Experience leading IT functions in a complex manufacturing setting.
- Experience working in a regulated industry.
- Full lifecycle ERP and CRM implementation experience.
- Experience overseeing multi‑site IT operations.
- Hands‑on leadership approach within a lean environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support organizational change and drive accountability.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Strong business and financial understanding; experience in a publicly traded company preferred.
- Experience developing and executing strategic technology plans.
- Experience managing teams, including budgeting, staffing, and resource planning.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience conducting due diligence and integrating acquisitions.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Ability to anticipate and manage technological and organizational changes, including the application of emerging technologies.
- Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma tools in a business systems or office environment.
- Experience leading IT operations across multiple global sites.
