Job Title:  Intern-Digital Design / Characterization

Position Summary: This position will report to the Director, Design Engineering.  This position will involve all phases of a design project, including specification and architectural design, detailed circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and design bring-up and test.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in the different design phases of digital design process of an ASIC as well as FPGA design, synthesis, and Implementation
• Setup test benches and create stimulus for block level RTL/FPGA verification
•  Assist with characterization system image test capture and analysis

Position Requirements:

• BSEE or MSEE (or progress towards these degrees).
• Excellent communication skill.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
• Knowledge of IC design CAD tools.
• Experienced with Verilog/VHDL RTL languages
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Motivated to carry out a wide variety of tasks with clear communication and presentation skills in a dynamic team environment.
