Job Description: 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that raise awareness and drive revenue growth across AMETEK AMT (covering ORTEC, Amptek, SI, and SunPower). This role blends strategy, planning, and execution, ensuring marketing initiatives contribute meaningfully to business growth and deliver strong returns on investment. The Marketing Manager works closely with AMT sales and marketing leadership, business managers, and the AMETEK divisional marketing team globally, and utilizes division shared resources in India for technical marketing support when needed.



STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing leadership to develop a data-driven strategic marketing direction for AMT brands, products, services, and solutions.
  • Perform brand-specific market analyses and build business cases for investment, aligning commercial and technical resources with strategic business direction.
  • Perform regular Voice of Customer surveys, with technical survey execution and data analysis supported by the division shared resources team as needed, to drive customer feedback into actionable insights and business strategy.
  • Build and continuously improve a high-quality marketing lead generation engine to accelerate revenue growth and minimize customer acquisition costs.
  • Monitor marketing spend and report on KPIs to highlight trends and demonstrate performance.

 

TECHNICAL COLLABORATION

  • Coordinate with the division’s shared resources team in India to support technical aspects of marketing, such as CRM development, marketing automation, and digital campaign implementation, ensuring best-in-class performance and process optimization as appropriate.
  • Lead the development of marketing materials for new product launches, with technical content and design support available from the division shared resources team.
  • Perform regular Voice of Customer surveys, with technical survey execution and data analysis supported by the division shared resources team as needed.

 

MARKETING OPERATIONS

  • Optimize Marketing Operations processes to maximize efficiencies enabled by new tools, including CRM enhancements, marketing automation, and reporting improvements.
  • Monitor marketing spend and report on KPIs to highlight trends and demonstrate performance.

 

MARKETING MATERIALS & PRODUCT POSITIONING

  • Work with Product Management to develop compelling market analysis and product positioning materials.
  • Lead the development of marketing materials for new product launches, with technical content and design support available from the division shared resources team.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies (multimedia, social media, SEM/SEO) that support marketing campaigns and sales revenue growth goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Distribution partners to support region-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Provide engaging technical content for internal/external communications (newsletters, social media, emails, blog posts, web pages) to raise awareness and drive demand for channel programs, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Work with Sales and Product Management to develop effective sales enablement tools and enhance solution selling approaches, empowering global sales teams to achieve revenue targets and retain customers.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct supervision of 1 resource in Oak Ridge, TN, USA. Responsible for coordinating with the division shared resources team in India as needed.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Five to seven years of Marketing Management experience in a B2B Technology-focused environment required.

 

Technical Experience

  • Experience with modern digital marketing tools required.
  • Experience in traditional Marcom (websites and content creation) required.
  • Experience developing CRM required, including familiarity with report development.
  • Direct experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Automation (Pardot) preferred.
  • Experience in Social Media (particularly LinkedIn) is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce a plus.
  • Experience in semiconductor, nuclear, or radiation detection technologies is a plus.

 

Working Environment:

  • Direct supervision of 1 resource in Oak Ridge, TN, USA.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the division shared resources team in India as needed.

 

Travel

  • 10% - Occasional travel to US facilities possible.

Compensation

Salary Maximum:  $160,000
