As a Maintenance Technician you will maintain and support all aspects of equipment used in manufacturing both germanium and silicon detectors. 

 

 Responsibilities include:

 

  • Support Preventive Maintenance on all equipment in Detector Manufacturing.
  • Trouble shoot and repair down to board and circuit level on Detector Manufacturing Equipment.
  • Research, locate, and order parts needed to keep the equipment it good working order and maintain parts inventory.
  • Modify and improve equipment for better processes.
  • Perform Helium leaks checks to ensure the integrity of the vacuum systems and maintain leak detectors.
  • Train others in performing Preventive Maintenance, and other vacuum related repairs.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training
  • Understand all types of vacuum systems.
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Methodologies and practices.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $50,000
Salary Maximum:  $60,000
Incentive:  No
